Hos Kaljan Studio tror vi på at dans er mer enn trening — det er et uttrykk, en opplevelse og et fellesskap.
Gjennom året jobber vi med ulike prosjekter og forestillinger der elevene våre får muligheten til å stå på scenen, vise frem det de har lært og oppleve gleden av å danse sammen.

Scrooge 2022

Based on “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. Produced by KALJAN Productions.
Everyone knows the story about the businessman who has plenty of money but doesn’t like to spend it and is completely excluded from society, because of his greed.
We have created a modern Scrooge, who is also possessed by money and power, a person who is trapped in business and self-centered thoughts. We see those type of people every day. We work with them and for them. We see the future of our planet and powerful people who prefer to ignore the threat of our existence and just keep on doing business.
Kaljan Production has decided to take voice in the dialog about the future of our planet. Without moralization, judge or coming up with the solution. We would like to look at modern humans from a different perspective.
We would like to dedicate the whole show to one of the strongest elements of the planet – WATER, the key element in our existence and future. An element often ignored by many.
We are lucky to have great, experienced musicians and choreographers in our production team, who will also step on stage and perform side by side with dancers and actors.

Kaljan production
The performance was created and performed by women and was a tribute to women of different ages, nationalities and status. It presents moments from women’s lives, their spaces and thoughts. The project has a topical message about women’s nature. Women are seen as organizers and multitaskers. Justyna combines her unique hip-hop style into jazz music, which is an unusual combination. Contains both choreography and freestyle.

A Journey Through Life
A dance and multimedia performance exploring the human experience — from birth to memory, love to loss.
Conceived and led by Justyna Lichacy, the production weaves together choreography, video projections by Erik Borschenius, and lighting design by Christian Paulsen across ten scenes.
The performance follows life's arc: the joy of childhood, the bonds of friendship, first love, city streets, marriage, solitude, and finally, the quiet of the spirit. Along the way, a cast of dancers, actors, musicians, and filmmakers bring each chapter to life — moving between hip hop and contemporary dance, spoken monologue, and live film.
Featuring original choreography, a curated soundtrack spanning jazz, soul, and hip hop, and a cinematic monologue on memory and longing, the show is an intimate reflection on what it means to be human — together and alone.
